RECA | CONNECTS. PERFORMS. INSPIRES.
On 21 July 2021 this motto was brought to life in the handover of the new seniors’ minibus to the evangelical parish in Kupferzell by Managing Director Thomas Häusele and fleet employee Michael Gehringer.
The vehicle, a VW Caravelle, is made available to the parish free of charge for trips by members of the nursing association. The aim is to improve the mobility of older people in Kupferzell so they can live at home for longer. The seniors’ minibus takes its passengers safely and punctually to their doctor’s appointments, to coffee with the Deacon on a Monday, to lunch or to Künzelsau for shopping. Between 65 and 70 Kupferzell residents use the seniors’ minibus every week. This means the bus is on the road for more than 60 hours every month.
The Kupferzell seniors’ minibus has become a permanent institution and is already in its fourth generation.
The costs, including maintenance costs for the vehicle and any fuel costs are covered by RECA NORM. Personnel costs are covered by donations and the nursing association of the evangelical parish of Kupferzell. It is organised by the Kupferzell parish office.
The design was created by the marketing department of RECA NORM.
